Mrs. Jessica Schelegle will be our next principal effective July 1, 2026.

Mrs. Jessica Schelegle is a product of Catholic education from high school through college, including St. Francis High School, the College of Notre Dame, and Santa Clara University. She is the proud parent of two young adults and brings to this position a deep love for Catholic education and for the mission of our school. Mrs. Schelegle first joined Sacred Heart School as a 7th grade teacher in 2008 and quickly made a tremendous impact on our community. In 2009, she was recognized with the prestigious Comcast Sportsnet All Star Teacher of the Year Award. 

Mrs. Schelegle earned her Catholic School Leadership Certificate and Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Santa Clara University in 2014. Following the completion of her degree, she assumed the position of Vice Principal concurrently continuing to teach 8th grade. Since that time, she has strongly contributed to strategic plans for our school and helped foster the collaborative spirit that is now a hallmark of our faculty culture. 

Over the years, she and Mr. Pulchny have worked closely together as the leadership team, to ensure that our students experience the very best of Catholic education.

Thank you to the parents who were able to join us for our May New Parent Orientation. 

Join us for our second New Parent Orientation meeting if you missed the May meeting and/or if you would like to meet our new principal Mrs. Jessica Schelegle and our vice principal Mrs. Wendy Devincenzi.

Our goal is to welcome you in-person to Sacred Heart school and our vibrant community. You will have an opportunity to meet our leadership team, other new parents, and learn everything you need to be ready for the first day of school. If you already attended the May event, you do not need to attend this event again.

Uniform Exchange Store will open at 6 PM - 6:30 PM for your convenience

Mark your calendars and bring your children so that they can get acquainted with our campus, classroom, and drop-off / pick up procedures. Feel free to bring their school supplies with you that day so that they don't have to deliver them on the first day of school. 

No appointments needed, come anytime between 10 AM - 12 PM. 

Monday-Friday 11 AM - 5 PM.

• Volunteering builds community!

Our Parent Volunteer requirement will be back in place for our next school year, for all families.

•     Why require annual volunteer hours?

 - Community: Our community strengthens when parents work together and get to know each other.

 - Programs: Events and programs are available, such as Robotics, Movement Lab, and the Carnival, thanks to our volunteers.

 - Stewardship: Volunteering helps us keep costs low and tuition affordable

• Volunteer Family Requirements

   - Time: 25 hours are required per family. Volunteering during carnival is requested.

   - Safety: All volunteers must complete the Diocesan volunteer requirements before volunteering for any school and/or parish activity or event. See link next to title above.
